Meditation- The Secret To Prosperity

Many years ago, when I set
up my practice in hypnotherapy, I learnt quickly that people
who attended me noticed positive changes in their financial condition.
This was an observation that surprised me. Patients came to me
with their emotional , psychological and physical problems. But
what was changing was in addition to what they came for.
On realising the connection
between meditation and prosperity, I decided to assure my patients
about their financial health. I was hoping against hope that
I would come across someone whose financial life will not change
whereas everything else would. It did not happen that way. As
they meditated, they became financially lucky. Most of them ended
up getting promotions. Some got offers that were never expected-just
out of the blue.
A retired businessman came
to me many years ago. As usual I advised him to refrain from
making any major life changes during treatment with me. He was
considering investing more than a million dollars in an internet
business. He reluctantly agreed. By the time the treatment ended,
he had developed the practice of doing simple breathing exercises
for a few minutes everyday. The dotcom industry had already crashed.
The money that would have been lost, had he invested in the business
venture, was saved.
Recently, a young woman came
for the treatment of Irritable Bowel Syndrome. She had been suffering
with it for last seven years. By the time her treatment finished,
she had developed the discipline of doing the breathing exercises
regularly for 20 minutes daily. Not only her symptoms resolved,
she was promoted in her job as well. The investment she had made
in her treatment, gave her financial dividends that came unexpectedly.
Many years ago, a young struggling
actor came to me for treatment of depression. I had told him
that there could be pleasant surprises coming his way as the
treatment progressed. Within a span of a few weeks of starting
treatment he got an offer from Broadway.He was on the moon. He
went away promising that he would continue treatment on coming
back to Ireland. I have not heard of or seen him since.
A healthcare worker also complained
of work stress as she was undergoing difficulties in relationships.
She started to meditate and within months, she got her promotion.
The same job that she found stressful, had become easy and she
had started to enjoy it.
These are some of the real
life experiences I have had with prosperity that I have seen
in other peoples lives and also in my own. The most important
thing about doing meditation is to do it as a discipline. Not
only does it clear you up emotionally and physically, it brings
calmness in the mind and the body as well. Prosperity is simply
the icing on the cake. Even spending only five minutes a day
will bring changes in your financial life. Do not expect it to
happen, but it will.
